My cycles are irregular after stopping the pill 4 months ago. although my last period cycle was 29 days. I was recoreding symptoms of ovulaiotn that month and on the 15th day i did have a slight pain in my side, im presuming this was ovulation pain, but i never noticed any egg white mucus…..

Ive not long been off the pill also about 3 months and only had 1 period so far but the next one is due this weekend as my cycles before have been 35 days.
Strange things have been happening to my body since i came off the pill and Im using Ovulation testing kits with no luck so far, I’ve had a positive yet but i'll wait and see when my period comes and i'll start testing again when i finish.
As for ovulation pains, I remeber getting slight twinges down my left side near my fallopian tube at a certain time and this month ive had really really bad pains that ive never known before even before i went on the pill. Im like you though and i dont seem to get any discharge either.
Its difficult because as someone said to me by getting tied up in doing the ovulation tests and charting etc you can start to get abit obsessed with baby making and not enjoy the closeness with your other half BUT im doing the tests because i am 35 now and dont want to take any chances.

Use a clear blue ovulation kit, or basal body temp to find out for sure. Not everyone has the same mucus, every woman is different.
